Gideon is a 5 year old Friesian stallion with a great temperament and a talent for dressage.  He had one year of training with Sabine Schut-Kery and is currently in training with Tracy Hargis.  In his first show he took 1st place and two 2nd places. The judges are giving him 8's on his gaits which is not often seen in a Friesian. His trot is very smooth and easy to sit. Gideon stands over 16 hands tall and is a very well mannered stallion. His grandmother is the great Doet S+P and his Aunt is the famous Mefrou M+P+Pres. Mefrou is the dam of two Dutch approved stallions. Gideon is KFPS/FHANA registered.

Gideon comes from a long line of stallions. He is the son of a stam 50 mare, Rommy fan 'e Sjongedyk. The largest number of approved stallions in Friesian horse history have come from this line. Gideon has a good foundation to build on. His conformation is great. He has a strong back, long straight legs, a good shoulder and croup and a beautiful head. Gideon's sire , Sierk is known to be friendly and a little fresh which would explain his light footed trot. Gideon has inherited all of these wonderful traits.

Gideon has received his star status at the 2005 keuring.
